Edward William Cooke (1811-1880)

Shipping and coastal scenery from the 1830's.

Edward Cooke was the son of respected artist George Cooke. He is best known for his series of engravings Shipping and Craft (1829), Coastal Scenery (1830) and London Bridges (1833).
After 1833, he gave up etching for painting.
